[RECOVERY][Z00VD] TWRP 3.2.1-0 FOR ASUS Z00VD/ ZC500TG

“Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) is an open-source software custom recovery image for Android-based devices. It provides a touchscreen-enabled interface that allows users to install third-party firmware and back up the current system, functions often unsupported by stock recovery images. It is, therefore, often installed when rooting Android devices, although it isn't dependent on a device being rooted to be installed.

I’ve ported the latest TWRP version 3.2.1-0 for ASUS Z00VD/ ZC500TG and additionally enabled the debugging feature in it.

What’s working?
  ü Everything.
ü MTP works since the boot. No need to disable and re-enable.
ü ADB (will be detected as ‘recovery’ and not as ‘unauthorized’)

Bugs:
  •  Takes a little bit time to boot.
  •   Nothing else.

  ü  Tested.
ü  All the files are scanned and they are malware-free.

SCREENSHOTS:

HOW TO INSTALL?

  •     For image file method:
 Boot into boot-loader.
 Choose ‘Fastboot’ (if needed)
Open cmd/ terminal and type the following commands:

     # fastboot flash recovery TWRP-3.2.1-0-Z00VD-debug.img

Reboot to recovery and you’re done.
  •    For ZIP method:
If you already have another custom recovery installed and want to upgrade to this version,
Just boot in the recovery and flash the TWRP-3.2.1-0-Z00VD-debug.zip
Once the installation is complete (takes about 5 seconds), it’ll automatically reboot into the new version of the TWRP.
