[INFO] What is ROOT?

Rooting refers to gaining the administrative rights of any android smart phone. Let us deal this a little generally, comparing to daily life.
Consider that you are living in a rental house. You would be allowed to use the house, you can make small modifications like connecting a light bulb, fan, hammer some nails etc. You can say that it is you house. But actually, it is not. It belongs to your house owner. You will not be allowed to make any major modifications on the house like raising walls between rooms, demolishing walls etc.
Similarly, now, you have a smart phone. You would be allowed to use the phone, you can make small modification
s on your phone like installing apps, change user settings and install the official OTA’s. You can say that it is your phone. Here, you may not think it is no more owned by your brand. But, it is true. All of will say that it is Xiaomi phone, ASUS phone, OnePlus, Google etc. Nobody will say the actual owner. Your phone is still under your brand’s control. You will not be allowed to make major modifications like installing custom recovery, custom ROM etc.
Rooting is like getting the bond papers of your house from the owner. You will get full rights over the property. So, Rooting gets you out of the ownership of your phone’s brand. Your phone will totally be yours. But as it should be, you are responsible for any problems.
Root is actually a directory or a folder in Linux based Operating Systems which contains critical files for the computer to run properly including the software that boots your device. Normal users do not have access to this folder for security purposes. Most of the Linux Operating Systems including Ubuntu, Kali provide System Administrators or the Root Users to access the root folder. Such users are also called as Super Users.Android lack this feature to provide better security and for preventing hacking and Cyber crime. The prompt for Super User is ‘#’ while the prompt for other users is ‘$’.Therefore, # is used as the common symbol for most of the root apps in Android.
IS ROOTING SAFE?
Nope, Rooting is never safe. Your phone’s manufacturer will not take care of you phone, like the house owner when he give it to you. You may accidentally demolish your house (probably not) but for an example you did something wrong, then no one will come to aid you. When you go wrong with something while rooting your phone, probably, you will get into boot-loop. When you try to install custom rom, firmwares, kernels and some stuff like that, you may go wrong and it will probably lead you to brick up your device. Some people consider routing as illegal. No way! That is foolish, it isn't. Some manufactures do support rooting, but only for developers. Say for an example, Xiaomi.
Boot-loop:
Boot-loop means getting stuck on start-up or boot animation of your ROM (either stock or custom ROM). It is also called as Soft brick. It can be rectified more easier that hard-brick.
Hard-brick:
Hard-brick means totally damaging your device. On simple words, your phone will not work. It will not display anything, it will not respond to any actions. In this case, your phone will simply turn into an expensive paper weight. It is very difficult to rectify this, and probably not even possible.
And there are also some other dis advantages, which is discussed later.

HOW TO ROOT?
Rooting procedure and techniques vary from device to device, however the method for all of them remains more or less same. We have many ways to root a phone. Some can be rooted just by some adb commands (for an example ASUS ZenFone 5), some may need a custom recovery (most common), some can be rooted by just single tap (using Kingoroot or KingRoot), some can have built-in root features (Xiaomi, Redmi) and so on.
We’ll discuss some of the common methods of rooting an Android Phone in this article. Try to learn everything about each procedure before you proceed with the process. Do not do the steps partially without clear knowledge. Have a clear-cut view of what you gonna do, before you do anything. Ignorance of any of the above instructions can cause you severe blow, you may even get bricked.
So, some of the common methods are:
  1. Flashing SuperSU zip using custom recovery.
  2. Using one-click root apps like KingRoot etc.
SUPER SU
SuperSU is the most common and popular root management tool from the beginning. It has been a powerful tool to control root privileges of an android device of all the time. SuperSU is developed by Chainfire Inc. The company have been doing great will this app for a long time. You can give an app root access either permanently or temporarily. There are two versions in this app. One is Free and the other is paid (The Pro version).
According to a poll conducted by bravonova5 (Xiaomi MIUI Official Forum) on MIUI forums site, 95.53% of people voted to SuperSu as the best root management tool.
Flash SuperSU and root your phone:

2. Reboot your device into TWRP recovery (by using vol. keys after shutting down your phone).
3. Select the 'Install' option
4. Browse and select the SuperSU zip.
5. Now, 'Swipe to Confirm Flash'.
6. After it completed flashing SuperSU, select 'Reboot System' option.

You can also try Magisk Manager. It has a special feature called Magick Hide which allows you to use Android pay, Pokemon GO etc., which cannot run on Rooted phones.
